Svenn Poulsen

President & CEO

Svenn has been President and CEO of Contex A/S and Contex Holding A/S since September 2006. His goal is to help Contex continue to deliver excellent, innovative solutions as it expands its market leadership in large format scanning.

Svenn has 20 years of managerial and executive experience with global technology companies, varying in size from 15,000 employees to just one. He has worked in practically every aspect of business, from R&D and innovation management to operations, sales and strategic marketing.

Svenn has worked at high-profile firms such as the pharmaceutical companies Coloplast and Novo Nordisk, and has also been involved in start-ups. He took Pronosco – a developer and producer of software for computer-aided diagnosis – from one employee to 40 in the four years he was president and CEO.

A qualified medical doctor, Svenn also has an MBA from Kingston University, London. He's a passionate musician and plays the bass guitar – though not particularly well.
