Martin Winnes
Human Resources Manager
As Human Resources Manager, Martin is responsible for Contex’s HR policies and procedures, as well as staff and leadership development programs. As he says himself, his job is to ensure that Contex does good business while remembering the company’s high regard for the individual.
Martin began his career as a consultant with SHL – the world leader in psychometrics in the workplace – assisting firms with employee training and assessment. Four and a half years as head of his own recruitment agency followed, before Martin moved to Nokia where he was responsible for 300 people in Denmark and around the world. Martin played an important role in integrating HR into Nokia’s business, setting up and leading worldwide competency training and problem-solving workshops. Martin joined Contex in 2007.
Originally educated as a teacher, Martin studied psychology at the University of Copenhagen before moving into HR.
Most of Martin’s spare time is spent with his family – either working on the family house or relaxing in their summer house in the south of Denmark. |
