Jørgen Rasmussen

Chief Technology Officer

 

As Chief Technology Officer, Jørgen is responsible for all research and development activities at Contex.

He manages Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) relationships and is closely involved with Contex’s large customers. An important part of Jørgen’s job is working closely with customers to drive innovation in the search for more advanced offerings.

A proven innovator, Jørgen has a number of patents to his name and was project manager for the first large format scanner Contex developed. Before moving to Contex in 1986, he developed pay phone systems at GN Store Nordic, the headset, hearing instrument and diagnostic equipment manufacturer.

Jørgen is a board member of StarVray Co. Ltd. He graduated from the Danish Technical University with an MSc in Electrical Engineering.

In his spare time, Jørgen trains dogs. He has three Belgian shepherds that regularly participate in obedience and agility competitions.
