Tom Bak

Chief Financial Officer

Tom Bak is in charge of Contex's finance, accounting, insurance, sales order administration and shipping functions.

He has managed Contex’s finances since 1989 – an extended period of strong growth for the company. As part of his work, he implemented two Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including Contex’s first full ERP system for managing all administrative areas, from production to sales processing.

Before joining Contex, Tom managed the finances of two large Danish companies – TipTop Køkkenet, a kitchen module manufacturer, and Nyborg Sild, a large herring producer. He has a higher diploma in Economics from the University of Southern Denmark and is Chairman of the Board of Danish kitchen producer BKN Production.

Tom has played the trombone since he was a child. A fan of jazz, he’s a member of a big band and performs on a regular basis.
