Global Web Marketing Manager
Strategic and Technical Role
In order to help us turn our website strategy and execution into a competitive advantage, Contex is now looking for a dynamic, interactive and engaged Web Marketing Manager for our Corporate Marketing Team. In this role, you will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing.
Your mission will be to drive our web strategy, web developments, operations and presence of Contex globally on the Internet.
Your role and responsibilities:
Drive dynamic content strategy including navigation, usability and search engine optimization. Initiate and implement lead generation functionality as well as setting up appropriate procedures for measuring effectiveness of online activity, then analyzing and reporting back on the results. Scope, engage and project manage external resources for major web initiatives.
Become a super user of our e-mail marketing campaign application. Provide directions on infrastructure and integration to CRM systems and databases as well as delivering the platform and key functionalities for our distributor websites and dealer program web platform. Be the web “go-to” person for online related activities internally within our organization.
Work closely together with our Regional Marketing Managers (China, Japan, Americas) to support them in maintaining a dynamic web presence and consulting them in using the most well-known web approaches for efficiency. In addition you will work out plans for increased level of presence in selected key markets.
Liaise with key stakeholders, such as Product Manager and Product Development to ensure smooth online introduction of new products; the IT department in evaluation of new technologies for progression of online capability; external web agency and design team to ensure usability, relevance and brand values on the website; and Marketing, Sales and R&D to create and source site content.
Your profile
- Several years of experience within most aspects of web marketing, including management of web development activities, content management, lead generation, presence and measuring results
- A deep understanding of the potential of the digital media. You are a super IT-user of a common web program with technical insight to effectively project manage new web developments, master content management systems as well as using web analytics tools
- Strong English skills, both written and verbal
- Able to consult on most web relevant questions including the use of our CMS systems, email marketing, web analytics, SEO and SEM tools
- Bachelor or Master’s degree within marketing, with emphasis on online communication and/or graphic design
- As a person you are open-minded, analytical and service-minded with an intuitive understanding of the b-t-b web user’s mindset and approach to using the web
